This week’s spotlight is on the sneak peek for the second show in our My Favorite Songs series, featuring the remarkable Champian Fulton. This acclaimed American jazz pianist and vocalist, born in Norman, Oklahoma, began performing at age 10 under the mentorship of jazz icon Clark Terry. Now based in New York City, she has released 18 albums and earned honors like Female Vocalist and Pianist of the Year (2019) by Hot House Magazine. Champian has worked with jazz greats including Scott Hamilton, Eric Alexander, Lewis Nash, and her longtime band with Fukushi Tainaka, Hide Tanaka, and her father, Stephen Fulton.
